Dendropsophus ebraccatus (or more commonly referred to as the hourglass tree frog) are mainly found in the tropical low lands and the humid forest of Central America and Northern Colombia. They are very, very small tree frogs that measure anywhere from 18 mm to 46mm. Females tend to be a bit larger than the males with both living short lives of less than three years. These beautiful dark golden yellow amphibians can also change their colors depending on the time of day or their stress level! Cute huh?
